Privacy Policy

This privacy policy governs use of personally identifiable information (PPI) and aggregate data by TreasureTrooper LLC (herein referred to as "TreasureTrooper" or "TT"). This privacy policy as well as our Terms of Service are governed by the laws of the United States of America. If any section of the policy is found to be unenforceable by any court of the United States, the rest of the terms shall be interpreted as is, with the relevant section considered to be deleted.

I. Manual Personal Information collected

TreasureTrooper collects information from you upon registration for our service, as well as when necessary to provide a better experience. This information includes, but is not limited to, the following

Address
Email Address
Paypal Address
Gender
Age/Date of birth
Phone Number
Other demographic information

II. Automatic Personal Information collected

During your use of TreasureTrooper, your IP address is recorded and stored for login history tracking and fraud prevention. In addition, TreasureTrooper assigns a unique identifier (user id) upon registration.

III. Information collected from minors

TreasureTrooper is committed to protecting the privacy and as such complies fully with the Children's Online Privacy Protection Act (COPPA). TreasureTrooper does not allow registration from nor collect information on users under 13 years of age. Upon discovery of any user who fraudulently claims to be over 13, all information on that user is purged from all copies of our database and access is denied.

IV. Cookies

TreasureTrooper uses mandatory cookies to store your currently logged in user id ("Session") as well as your encrypted account details if the "Remember Me" feature is used. Cookies are also used for Google Analytics to track and record traffic patterns. You may not opt out of these cookies.

V. Use of information

Your personally identifiable information is used by TreasureTrooper for the purpose of providing relevant offers and surveys as well as for internal marketing and aggregating usage history. TreasureTrooper may from time to time send you updates including newsletters and special offers.

In addition, TreasureTrooper uses your information and IP address to identify fraudulent users as well as to block open proxies from accessing accounts.

VI. Information Protection

TreasureTrooper takes every measure to protect and keep confidential your personally identifiable information. Your information will not be sold, transferred, or otherwise disclosed to outside parties except as outlined in section VII below. In the event of a sale of the entire company, all data will be transferred as part of the transfer of ownership.

VII. Information Sharing

TreasureTrooper may share your information for any of the below reasons.
1. Upon receipt of a subpoena from a recognized court or as otherwise required by law.
2. As needed to complete payments or send rewards, such as Ebay, Paypal, or Amazon
3. To provide access to certain third party features.

Information shared with third parties may include, but is not limited to, a unique identification number ("UID"), postal code, gender, marital status, education, ethnicity/race (where permitted by applicable law), employment related information, and non-personally identifiable information on household members, with third party sample/market research companies (individually each a "Third Party MR Company" and collectively the "Third Party MR Companies"). This information may be shared for, but is not limited to, the the following reasons:
1. Identifying client survey opportunities that you may be eligible for through the Third Party MR Companies; and 2. Disclosing such data elements to clients of the Third Party MR Companies for audience measurement services; and 3. Appending such data elements to completed client surveys and delivering the appended survey data to clients of the Third Party MR Company(ies) for analytical or research purposes.

When information is shared with third parties for reason 3 above, your information may be stored in servers outside of your country of residence and is bound by the privacy policies of said third parties. This shared information does not establish a direct relationship between you and the third parties.

Features that require third party data sharing include the following. 1. Dig Sites - Dig sites collect demographic information to better display relevant offers.
2. Survey Seeker - Survey Seeker collects your personally identifiable information to provide relevant offers. This information is shared with Survey Sampling International, LLC.

These third party features are opt-in only, by visiting the relevant pages on TreasureTrooper. Upon going to these pages, you will be notified about this information sharing.

VIII. Opting Out

You may opt-out from TreasureTrooper's services at any time by visiting your "My Profile"page and clicking "Delete Account." Once you delete your account, TreasureTrooper will no longer share your information with any third parties, except where required by law.

IX. EU Members - Right to be forgotten

If you have registered for our services, and you'd like us to completely forget all of your data, please send an email to forgetme@treasuretrooper.com from the email address that you registered with. We will process your request accordingly. Please note that for tax compliance reasons, certain information is retained offline in accordance with applicable laws.

XI. Change and scope of Policy

This privacy policy is subject to change without notice. Resigned and terminated members of TreasureTrooper.com will remain protected by this privacy policy as effective at the time of account termination.

XII. Notification of breach

In the event that TreasureTrooper's database is detected to have been breached and information is discovered to have been harvested or stolen, TreasureTrooper will notify all affected users at their email address on file.
